Patrol Officer Vehicle Engagement
October 5, 2026 | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Live Range | CLOSED
Patrol officers spend much of their shift in and around vehicles, and that’s often where things go wrong. This course takes officers out of the static lane and onto a range set up with real vehicles and props, so they train for the situations they’re most likely to face on the job.
Officers work through live-fire scenarios both inside and outside vehicles, including engaging threats from the driver and passenger seats, getting out of a vehicle under pressure, and coordinating movement as a team. The course examines the ballistic fortification of a vehicle and how different ammunition penetrates it, so officers know which parts of a vehicle provide true cover and which offer only concealment. Instructors stay hands-on throughout, giving immediate feedback so every rep counts. Officers leave with practical experience they can’t get on a standard qualification range.

Low Light Performance - Handgun & Rifle
November 6-7, 2026 | 2:00-10:00 PM | Live Range | Limited to 12 Operators
Most critical incidents don’t happen in good lighting, yet most qualification courses do. This two-day course puts patrol officers in the conditions they actually work in. Each day starts in daylight and runs into full darkness, so operators build skills step by step and then put them to work as the light fades.
Training covers handheld and weapon-mounted light techniques, light discipline, target identification, and using light to the operator's advantage. Operators then apply those skills to the real-life situations such as vehicle approaches, working with a partner, and making sound decisions when visibility is limited. As with every Phoenix Training Co. course, the emphasis is on doing. Expect high repetition, real-time feedback from instructors, and scenarios that build on each other across both days.

This course is reserved for active-duty military or law enforcement personnel.
